Yesterday, at Flushing Meadows Park, we witnessed a historic event in soccer. We saw one of the greatest players of all time, Pele, announce the return of the greatest soccer club in US history- the New York Cosmos.
The mission of The
New York Cosmos is clear and simple:
To inspire, develop, and field World-Class players.
We are delighted and honored to say that one of their partners in this is BW Gottschee.
Gottschee has long ago established itself as one of the most passionate, successful youth soccer clubs in the country, with a long tradition of developing high quality players that have consistently represented our club, state, and country with distinction and honor.
Now, together with The
New York Cosmos and the resources, manpower, and expertise that they bring, we will form a powerful, elite academy that
benefits the entire club.
While we may see some new uniforms and faces and while there may be some new questions posed, what has not changed are the core values that have made Gottschee what it is. That is a commitment by the club and our new partners that is unbreakable.
